We've made it out on a couple of Saturdays and a couple of Wednesday nights since the last post. Gianluca only comes out on Wednesday nights because he still naps in the afternoons when the Saturday races take place. We keep saying that we'll take him out for a Saturday race sometime soon and then get him home for his nap afterwards, but we haven't been so ambitious. And we really don't want to mess with the nap thing too much, we're grateful to still have it!
Anyway, the last few weeks have been for the most part fun, but anti-climactic! Most of the races have only had three riders so the boys have won trophies every time they've raced. This of course is good and bad. The day will of course come when you finish outside of the top three, and then what?
Anthony's to the point that he understands. We'll see about Gianluca. Maybe I shouldn't even think about stuff like that yet, and just have fun?
Anthony has been riding the 20" loaner bikes a little bit lately, and he goes a few seconds a lap faster on them. Might be time for a new bike!
