The last several weeks have flown by and I couldn't find time to keep this thing current, but here's a summary of where things stand at the end of 2016:
It's pretty much been the status quo over the last few outings; Anthony is settling into his role as the youngest Intermediate, and Luca has been riding his pedal bike in the Strider class.
Gianluca may have gone to the track once or twice since the last post, but I don't remember where he's finished. I believe one week I didn't help push him over the tabletop coming off of turn three and he fell, and finished last. For some reason I thought he may be able to make it up himself on his pedal bike, but I guess I was way off. Later after the races Anthony and his friends were riding Luca's bike on the track and they couldn't even make it up there. It's just too steep for such little wheels with the small amount of momentum they carry out of turn three. Oh well, he was fine, and it allowed some of the other new kids to get a first place trophy. I think the other time he finished second or third.
Unfortunately the last race of 2016 that was scheduled for 12/10 was rained out. So that's it for this year. It was a lot of fun!!
We'll see where this takes us in 2017. We've pretty much just taken things week by week up to this point, but we'll probably start doing a little traveling around with Anthony next year as long as he's having fun and improving. Right now we're looking at doing the first state race of 2017 in Camarillo on 1/28.
Here are a few videos:
This video didn't come out too good but it was fun because Donny used Anthony for a demo in the clinic. He actually did very well.
Today was Anthony's first race as an intermediate. There was the seasonal low turnout again so he got bumped up to the 7I class and raced against Devin and Taylor. The results ended up as we all expected: Devin-Taylor-Anthony. But watching Anthony at 4 hold his own against 6 and 7 yr. old inters is fun.
Luca won his third Strider race, but on his pedal bike!
This week was our last week of Donny's beginner league, and Anthony attended both full sessions on Wednesday and Friday. We did get a little focused instruction on Wednesday, which was really good. They worked on taking different lines through turn one, simulating passing other riders.
Wed 10/5- Gianluca finished second out of two. It was just him and Connor. He should have finished first but Erika held him up at the last step up and let Connor go by. Anthony dominated the 5 and unders.
Fri 10/7 beginner races- Coming into the last race day Anthony and Colton were apparently very close in points for the overall 5 year old class (Boden, a 5I, won all of the races that he attended, but he missed a couple of weeks. Donny told Anthony when we arrived that the points were close and that he had to perform to win the #1 honors, but I'm not quite sure that Anthony understood. Even I didn't know that they were tallying all of the race results.
Four rounds were scheduled, and after a very brief practice session they got the races going. Anthony crashed about 1/3 of the way down the second straight. He got back up and finished 5th. Boden won, and Colton finished a ways back in 2nd. I told the boys to go get Boden in moto 2 and they listened; they were a lot closer. Colton finished second again with Anthony right behind in 3rd. In moto 3 they were even closer; Colton actually pulled up alongside Boden about half way down the second straightaway, but then Boden picked up the pace and pulled away for the win. Anthony finished 3rd again. Moto 4 was the best race of the whole series. Colton actually passed Boden and led him down most of the second straightaway with Anthony gaining ground on both. Boden retook the lead coming out of turn two and pulled a little gap. Colton slowed exiting turn three and Anthony passed Colton at the line for second not too far behind Boden.
Colton ended up being the overall winner of the series, which was great! We were all happy for him.
Sat 10/8- Gianluca won the Strider race (first out of two). Anthony again dominated the 5 and under class, logging his ninth win. Just one more win before he advances to the Intermediate class!
It was a beautiful day at the track for the 10th anniversary celebrations. The only rough part is that the schedule was considerably longer and the boys were outside waiting for their races in the 90 degree October sun. No biggie though, they're pretty tough!
Tyler and Anthony sharing the top spot on the new podium after their Wed night dominance of the 5 and 6 yr old Novice classes.
A few minutes at the skate park before heading home for movie night!!
Another Saturday at the race track with both boys! Just the three of us this time, and things actually went pretty smooth.
It was a low turnout day again with only two in the Strider class, Gianluca and Conner. Conner is almost exactly the same age as Gianluca, but he just started last week. Also, Gianluca rode his pedal bike, which gives him a little advantage (but other kids have ridden pedal bikes in the Strider class). Anyway, Gianluca easily won this one, so he finally won his first race. He did pretty well for his first time on the track on a pedal bike. He even rode the full track a couple of times during the break, but I had to push him up several of the hills/bumps.
There were only two five and under riders, Anthony and Donovan, so they got moved up to the 7 yr. old Novice class and were racing against a coupe of new riders. Surprisingly Anthony got into the lead of moto 1, won, and transferred to the main. In the main Anthony didn't get as good of a start. He managed to pull alongside the second place rider (who finished third in the first moto and ended up winning the main), but just didn't have the strength to make the pass. The second place rider then pulled alongside the leader and they went bar to bar almost to the end with Anthony in tow. Anthony actually probably would have gone faster on his own, but he couldn't engineer a pass of both of these kids. Third place was good for us today; he used his track buck to get an ice cream. And it was nice watching the two other kids enjoy first and second place finishes in their first main events. Anthony graciously congratulated the winner and made a couple of new friends.
It actually worked out perfectly, as I really didn't want Anthony to get another win today. He now has seven Novice wins and needs three more to become an Intermediate, which he's now beginning to understand. The wins will most likely be few and far between once that transition is made so it'll be fun to enjoy the 5 and under Novice class a little longer. Colton turns 6 later this month, so that may be a good time for them both to move on to new classes. At this pace that's probably around when he'll get his 10th win.
Bad daddy! I didn't get a picture of Luca after his first win. Maybe because I was handing out the trophies and couldn't multi task. I have a feeling there will be more!
Anthony got a little overwhelmed with going to the track so much after the Napa beginner racing league got started earlier this month, so we took advantage of Donny being gone for a few of the sessions to sit a couple out. Overall, on the track, it was business as usual for both Anthony and Gianluca over this period.
But, there were two significant developments. One day when I got stuck running the gates Anthony took it upon himself to start lining up at the gate by himself. He actually got a good start or two out of the gate with no help on the first day of trying, and over the following few track days he now looks like a seasoned veteran as he calmly pulls into his gate, lines his bike up, positions his pedals, and then positions himself in a near perfect posture balancing and standing before the gate drops. Gianluca's new development was off the track (at least for September); he's now riding a pedal bike without training wheels!
Wed 9/21- All of the kids were acting up a little (some a lot) so we just decided to scrap Wednesday altogether; beginner league and Wed night races. It was a little tough to write it off, but definitely the best decision.
Fri 9/23 beginner races- It was just over a week ago, but I don't even remember what happened in these races. I think Anthony raced traded wins with Colton.
Sat 9/24- I decided to take Luca to the races since we missed Wednesday. Gamma wanted to go, and then Alessandra decided she wanted to go to (mainly to be with Gamma). At least Erika got an unexpected couple of hours to herself. The races were pretty uneventful. Luca finished third out of four in his Strider race, and Anthony won all three motos of a total points 5 and under Novice race.
Wed 9/28- Gianluca finished 3rd in his Strider race. Anthony had some competition this week in the 5 and under class, Kingston Burrows. I think Anthony has raced Kingston twice, and last time, although he wan't too far behind Kingston in second place, he definitely wasn't on pace with him. But that changed this week as Anthony's progress in the last several weeks has been pretty impressive. See moto 1 in the video below. Anthony won the main by a bigger margin.
Fri 9/30 beginner races- This was a lot like a few weeks ago with Boden, Colton and Anthony (the veterans) racing a race amongst themselves in these beginner races. Boden gapped Colton and Anthony pretty good in race 1, and I believe that Anthony finished second to Colton. In the second race they were a little closer to Boden, and Colton was ahead of Anthony. In the third moto Anthony lost his balance a little at the start and ended up getting tangled up with one of the beginners at the back end of the first table top. They came together and Anthony went down hard. Unlike other times when he's just gotten up and gotten back on, he was pretty rattled this time, and his knee was bleeding and hurting.
He limped away from the track, and got a quick break before they called a surprise moto 4. He of course wanted to ride again so we headed up the hill to line up just after wiping a few tears from his eyes. No chance of touching that knee yet (didn't want to deal with that!). Donny gave everyone a pep talk before the last race that apparently Anthony took to heart. Donny in essence said that due to the wind there had been a lot of crashes that day, but that none of that mattered now. This was their last chance to take a good memory home, that it could be their best race, and to give it their all.
Anthony did just that. He got a perfect start and set out after Boden leaving the rest of the pack, including Colton, well behind. Hi didn't catch Boden, but everyone was aware of how close he was. It was a great way to end the month!
Oh, I forgot. Donny got Anthony a new bike the other day, and he assembled it yesterday. Today was his first race on his new 20" Free Agent. He also got his first crash in with just a little scuff on the brake lever.
Anthony will be participating in a beginner BMX racing course over the next five weeks on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:00 (before official racing) and on Fridays from 4:00 to 6:00. They will run unofficial races the last hour or so on Fridays. This is put on by Donny Robinson, the track crew, and the city of Napa.
So Anthony has had a LOT of track time this week, and will be getting a lot more in over the next several weeks!
Wed 9/7- 2nd place Gianluca 3rd place
Fri 9/9 beginner races- 3 firsts and then a third when combined with 5 year olds; crashed hard, but still got up and finished 3rd out of 7.
Sat 9/10- Raced in the 6N class. Finshed 4th out of four in the first moto, not too far behind; finished third in second moto, pretty close behind Elena; didn't technically qualify for main, but raced and finished fourth, just a small gap behind the leaders (a few seconds or so)
Wed 9/14- 1st place. Gianluca 2nd place.
Fri 9/16 beginner races- Anthony finished third in the first three motos behind Boden and Colton. He didn't seem to be trying very hard. We thought there were only going to be three races, but then they called for main events, so we realized there would be four. Anthony perked up when he heard "main event" and got back into his aggressive posture. He caught and passed Colton about halfway through, and held on for the win about a half bike length in front of Colton. Boden didn't race the last race, but Colton almost beat Boden in one of the earlier motos.
Sat 9/17- Anthony was side by side with Colton leading the first moto when his foot slipped off the pedal and he lost some ground. He made a little bit up, but not enough to beat Colton so he had to race moto 2. He collided with Bryce in turn one of the second moto, and they both went down. They both got up and finished, but Anthony was last so that's two weekends in a row that he hasn't technically made it to the main. Ray said that he could race, but unlike last week when we did that, I decided it wasn't a good idea this week because it might take away some glory from Bryce and Naomi. There's a good chance that Anthony could have won the race and that wouldn't be nice for the other kids since he technically didn't advance to the main. I switched his pedals out as soon as we got home!
Sat 8/20- 4th in State race out of 8 (to main); 9 total
Wed 8/24- 1st place out of 5, Jacob in 2nd; Gianluca 6th Wed 8/31- 1st place out of 3; Gianluca 2nd
Things have been a little crazy busy since getting back from our summer travels: back to school, new school for Anthony, birthdays for Gianluca and Alessandra, but we did manage to squeeze in some racing!
Anthony started off the late August cycle with some trouble getting out of the gate. He's tending to lean to his right when anticipating the gate, which of course throws off his balance and almost always sends him sideways out of the gate. We're working on correcting that now, and it seems as though we've made a little progress (although he usually gets very annoyed when I point it out to him).
Anyway, aside from suffering bad starts in almost every race, he's otherwise done pretty well. Colton is going much quicker on his new bike, and is definitely giving Anthony a run for his money. They're pretty equal overall at this point, but each have their strong points. Right now Colton is getting much better starts that Anthony, and is also relatively quicker than him on the front straight. Therefore Colton usually has a nice gap on Anthony leading into turn one. Anthony, on the other hand, is much faster than Colton (and almost all of the other kids) into and exiting turn, so he usually exits turn one very close, if not ahead of, Colton. They're pretty close down the second and third straights, but Colton is usually able to close on Anthony coming into turn three, and it often ends in a tight run to the finish in practice.
Unfortunately Colton has only been able to make it to one of the last four races, and he actually beat Anthony by a good gap in that race. It'll be fun to see these two battle it out until Colton moves on to the 6 yr. old class later this year. He has the momentum against Anthony (and others) right now, but Anthony will be trying to deliver an upset or two in the next several weeks!
Anthony did very well in his first state race. We didn't get the turnout we were expecting (around 15) as there were only nine entries in the 5 and under novice class. So there were two first round motos of five and four, of which the top two from each advanced directly to the main. The remaining five riders raced for the remaining four spots on the gate, i.e. only one rider didn't advance to the main.
Anthony should have finished second in his first moto, but didn't (let's just leave it at that). So he had to race moto two, which he won. He got another bad start in the main, but came out of turn 1 close to the leaders in fourth. He tried to take third with an outside pass in turn 2, but was unsuccessful. From there he seemed to just settle into fourth and cruise to the finish. Perhaps he didn't realize that he was fourth because he sure was upset that he didn't get a trophy! Oh, well; that's the way it goes sometimes, overall he did very well (but of course he didn't want to hear that).
He redeemed himself the following two Wednesday nights with commanding back to back wins (although with no real competition), which now bring his total wins up to four. And he now understands the concept of having to win 10 novice races to move up to intermediate, so watch out!
Gianluca loves racing too! He doesn't get it quite the way Anthony did, but he's definitely having fun, and is always looking forward to Wednesday nights. He finished second in last night's race, and was very content!
That's it for now....
Hanging with Donny
Anthony and Jacob
Anthony, Levi, and little Donovan. And of course the beautiful trophy girl!
The boys were gone on vacation to Canada and Chicago for a good part of July. We most likely did a couple of races in early July, but I just can't remember the details at this point.
We all got back on August 1st, and we headed out to the track on Wednesday evening August 3rd.
Anthony won the 5 and under class in a field of three with light competition. With that said, he was riding very well despite a pretty good crash on one of his first laps.
Luca was in second place in his race despite getting his usual terrible start, but apparently got passed at the line so he ended up third (after watching the video below I think he got second). If he can start getting good starts I think he can win some of these things.
Anthony and I went back out on Saturday the 6th for our regular racing, and the 5 and unders had a full gate! I think that's only the second time we've seen a full gate in his class since we started. There were four 5 yr olds, three 4 yr olds, and Donavan, the newest three yr old since Anthony. Anthony finished third in the first race behind Elena Pliego and a new
kid that we haven't seen before (there were actually a few that we'd
never seen). They moved on to the main, and Anthony won the second moto. The main was the same result as the first moto although Anthony actually made it into second about half way through the lap. He ended up third in the end, but considerably closer than in the first moto.
Our next Saturday race at Napa will be the state race on August 20th.
Since the last post we've done two Wednesday night races and today's (Saturday) race. There were no races last week due to the state races in Roseville.
I may need to do these entries at least weekly because I can hardly remember what happened the last two Wednesdays. Nothing too eventful! Anthony probably had a couple of thirds, and I believe Gianluca had a third and a fourth. But he still got a trophy for fourth. Don't know why.
Anyway, today we had some great racing in the five and under novice class! There were 5 riders; three 5 year olds (Colton, Elaina, and Naomi), and two 4 year olds (Anthony and Hannah). This is the first time that it hasn't been a three rider grid in a while, so I told Anthony that he was gonna have to do well to be sure to make it to the main.
Colton got a new 20" mini, and it suited him much better, so he was actually going faster than Anthony in practice. Anthony got a mediocre start, but something weird that we didn't see happened in the first bowl turn, and Anthony emerged in second place not too far behind Colton. Elaina was surprisingly a ways back so I think she must have had a little hiccup in the bowl turn, or on the incline coming out of it. Anthony closed the gap on Colton in the last half of the lap and was looking like he'd pass him. It didn't quite happen though, and they finished almost side by side advancing straight to the main.
Anthony got another mediocre start in the main, and may have been in fourth going into the first bowl. He came out of the bowl in third in pursuit of Elaina and Colton who were battling for the lead. Colton took the lead gong into the second bowl turn, and Anthony closed the gap getting right behind the other two. Colton and Elaina were almost side by side going down the last whoops, and Anthony swung over to the large whoops perhaps thinking that he may be able to overtake them. Unfortunately hitting the large whoops is definitely the slower line for these small guys so his strategy didn't prevail this time. However, he did end up entering the last bowl turn right on Elaina's back wheel, and he made a good effort to push ahead. It didn't work out for him this time, but he put in a great race against the two five year olds on 20" bikes. Being on the 20" bike definitely makes a difference. As I said in the last post, I think it's Anthony's time to move up!!!
Oh yeah, and Gianluca got to meet Donny- and ride with him. Anthony got some laps in with Donny too!
Great race Anthony!! You make your daddy very proud!
I haven't been able to make an entry for each race we've been to in the last few weeks so I'll just summarize in this post.
We've made it out on a couple of Saturdays and a couple of Wednesday nights since the last post. Gianluca only comes out on Wednesday nights because he still naps in the afternoons when the Saturday races take place. We keep saying that we'll take him out for a Saturday race sometime soon and then get him home for his nap afterwards, but we haven't been so ambitious. And we really don't want to mess with the nap thing too much, we're grateful to still have it!
Anyway, the last few weeks have been for the most part fun, but anti-climactic! Most of the races have only had three riders so the boys have won trophies every time they've raced. This of course is good and bad. The day will of course come when you finish outside of the top three, and then what?
Anthony's to the point that he understands. We'll see about Gianluca. Maybe I shouldn't even think about stuff like that yet, and just have fun?
Anthony has been riding the 20" loaner bikes a little bit lately, and he goes a few seconds a lap faster on them. Might be time for a new bike!
Okay, so I'm going to have to start a blog for Gianluca. I really didn't think he'd be into this as much as he is. Bear with me a while!
Gianluca finished last last night in the Strider race, but I think he was the only two year old. He was third, so he did get a trophy, and that of course made him happy! The only downside is that one of these days he's not gonna get a trophy, and we'll see how that goes. Anthony seems to get it, and he's not upset when he doesn't get a trophy, which is great!
Anthony had his first legitimate crash last night. He landed sideways on the first tabletop and then had a pretty good face plant. I ran down to him, untangled him from his bike, and picked him up. He was a little dazed, but gathered himself together quickly (after pointing to a little blood on his knee), and headed back around to finish his lap. He got a little sideways the next two times on the tabletop, which is pretty textbook, but then got back into his normal rhythm.
We actually got a 5 and Under Novice race for the first time on a Wed night! Anthony, Naomi, and a new kid, Liam (5 yr. old from Vallejo, I think). There were only three so it was a total points race, and a battle for the biggest trophy. Naomi and Anthony have been close in the past, so I wasn't sure how this was gonna play out.
Liam looked pretty fast in practice!
Anthony got an okay start in the first race, pulled ahead of Naomi by the first bowl, and then settled between the two to the finish. In the second race Anthony got a worse start, and came out of the first bowl just ahead of Naomi, and pretty well behind Liam. Second again.
The third race was Anthon's best. He got a good start, and was able to come out of the first bowl just a few bike lengths behind Liam. Liam pulled away a little at the end, but Anthony finished much closer. I think he is starting to understand how important getting a good start is.
Another fun evening with the boys!
Alessandra was there too. She has a friend named Maddie that she loves to go exploring with on the grounds around the track.
We actually got two Saturday races in a row. I forgot that we had one on 5/14/until after I started this post. On 5/14 there weren't enough 5 and under to have their own class so Anthony had to race the 6 yr. old Intermediate class. He came in last (5th), and didn't qualify for the main. But, he did great for a kid that just turned four! he was actually not too far behind the pack.
On 5/21 it felt like another light turnout (I think there was a bigger event at a nearby track), but we got three 5 and under Novices. Anthony, his buddy Colton, and a new kid from Danville (I think), Kaden. Kaden was a very fast 5 year old and the result was the same in all three races: Kaeden, Anthony, and Colton.
Anthony and Colton had a great time at the skate park after the races!
We've still only had four Saturday races since the beginning of 2015. It's been disappointing for Anthony since races are normally scheduled for every Saturday. Even though the rains tapered significantly after January it seems like the times that it does rain are the perfect times to cancel racing. I think that most of the rain that we've gotten in the last several weeks has come on Friday and Saturday. Last week it looked like we were going to be heading to the track, but then at the last minute the forecasted mist turned to some real rain just in time for them to call off the races.
Oh well! That's the way it goes.
We have been getting out a few times on Wednesday nights. Once or twice for practice only in March/April, and then starting on April 27th (2 weeks ago) the racing began. It ends up being a bit of a later night for us, as racing doesn't start until after 6:00 (just before 7:00 last night), but we've had take out In n Out at the track, so it's worked out pretty well.
The turnout for Wednesday night racing is probably well under 1/2 of Saturday's norm, and since there are much less little guys/gals the classes that are run can be pretty wonky. For example, two weeks ago Anthony was placed in the 7 yr. old Intermediate class. He finished last, fourth out of four, but he did great as always. The gap that they had on him at the end of the race was very close to the gap the the 5 and under Novices had on him just several months ago when he started. Not bad for a four year old!!
Last night the turnout was better, and to my surprise they actually had four 5 and under Novices. The other three were fast 5 yr. old semi regulars from out of the area. Anthony didn't get the best start, as always, but by the time they hit the back straight he was right behind the second and third place riders. The leader started to pull away at that point. He wasn't able to make a pass, but the three finished very close to each other. Anthony finished a little bit farther behind in the second moto, and didn't advance to the main. He came off the track with a little smile and said "gimme a high five daddy, I won the last place."
He's a gem! And again, although the trophies have eluded him the last two outings, he's put in impressive and consistent performances. Yep, daddy is pretty proud.
And, it looks like I may have to start another blog....Gianluca Lupo Racing!!!
Our little tech geek can ride a bike too! He finished second in his first race, and was in a solid second in his second race until his mom left him hanging on the last whoop (there are a couple places that the little ones can't quite make it over yet). Erika helped a couple other riders (which was sweet, but didn't help our cause too much!), and then pushed him over the top. He actually would have been not far behind the winner ( a fast little 3 year old, presumably) otherwise. Gianluca now has two trophies. Anthony and Alessandra are getting jealous!
Since the beginning of 2016 Anthony has finished 3rd in the 5 and under Novice class (as a three year old) and he won his last race (his first race since turning four).
As he adored his trophies all week (he slept with his first place trophy on Wednesday night after Danny asked him if he'd slept with it yet). But he also noticed that he didn't have a second place trophy, and he told me that he needed to get a second place trophy. I kinda let it go and of course just looked forward to him potentially winning again on Saturday.
Saturday comes around and we head out to the track. There was a very light turnout this week, but the 5 and under Novice class had four entries: Anthony, Naomi, Skyler, and a new 5 year old boy. Anthony gets a better start this week, but still has to come from behind for the win. He's clearly the fastest rider out there. So, since there are four riders this is a normal qualifier (not total points like last week with only three entries); Anthony advances to the main and doesn't have to (get to) race in the second moto. This is a new concept to him, and I thought that he'd be upset, but he seemed to understand and just went with it. I told him that his next race would be the main event, and that that race would be where he could win a trophy.
When the main event gets called Anthony is ready to race, but he's much more calm than he normally is (he's amazingly composed at the track for any kid; especially a four year old). He actually got a decent start this time, but ended up behind Skyler heading down the middle straightaway. She had a decent gap, but nothing that he wasn't able to close. Surprisingly he maintained the same gap all the way to the finish. He finished second.
I of course tried to show as much enthusiasm as I had for last week's win (I'd learned a couple of hard lessons with Alessandra by doing otherwise), and I greeted him at the finish with a nice high 5 and a hug. But I had to ask him what had happened, and why he didn't try to catch Skyler.
He pretty much said that he was going for second. He needed to have a second place trophy to complete the full set.
I think I believe him!!
Oh well. let's see what happens next time.
It was another fun day at the track with my little man.
We haven't been out to the track in quite a while. Since Anthony's last race on January 2nd the track has only been open once, due to excessive rain, and we were in Tahoe that weekend.
Anthony is now a four year old! I was glad that he won a trophy in the 5 and under class as a three year old last time we were out since all of his subsequent opportunities were rained out.
Today there were only three entries in the 5 and under Novice class, Anthony, Colton and Naomi, so it was a total points race. That means that all three motos were scored evenly, and whoever has the least points wins the overall.
Anthony won the first moto! And in fine style too. There's no video of the first moto (I didn't even think of it until I texted Erika that he won), but he got a bad start (just like his dad) and then came back to beat everyone near the finish line.
He finished second in the second moto, but he was only a bike length behind Naomi, and he was closing very quickly.
And then he won the main (third moto) pretty handily!!!
I haven't done a blog entry in over four months. I kinda forgot that I was doing this.
December got completely rained out so January 2nd was his first race in several weeks. I don't remember all the details since I'm writing this on April 2nd, but the biggest change this year is that they split the 5 and under class into Novices and Intermediates. Isaac, Tate and Boden had all recently turned intermediates so they gave them their own race.
Anthony rode very well, and finished a solid third. Now that the faster 5 year olds have moved to another class Anthony is able to mix it up with some of the other 4 and 5year olds.
